Today’s devotional is written by Liz’a Biswell, and narrated by Angela Gray.

“Cast your burden on the Lord [releasing the weight of it] and He will sustain you; He will never allow the [consistently] righteous to be moved(made to slip, fall, or fail)” (Psalm 55:22 AMPC).

We all carry burdens, some visible, others quietly tucked away in our hearts. As women, we often pour ourselves out in caring for others. While that brings great joy, it can also leave us vulnerable to exhaustion and heartbreak.

In my life, I’ve been learning what it means to release those burdens to God. Not just eventually, but quickly. Everything I place in His hands is transformed. When the weight of my burden gets heavy, my faith becomes stronger.

Right now, I find myself in a season of deeper growth. God is gently revealing areas of my life that still need healing. It isn’t always easy to see those places so clearly—it can even feel heartbreaking at times. But I’m learning that those heartbreaks are no longer breaking me; they are shaping me. With every broken piece I give to God, He replaces it with more of Himself. What once made me feel weak is now becoming the very thing that strengthens me.

No matter what you are carrying today, know this: God is able. There is nothing too heavy, too messy, or too broken for Him. He invites you to bring everything—your relationships, your worries, your past, your fears, your struggles, and even the things you try to hide. If you desire a faith that cannot be shaken, it begins with surrender. Place every burden into His hands and trust that His way is better.

Lord, Thank You for inviting me to lay every burden at Your feet. Help me to surrender quickly and trust You completely. When my heart feels heavy, remind me that You are my strength. Transform every broken place in me and fill me with more of You. Teach me to walk in unshakable faith as I place my life in Your hands. In Jesus' name, Amen.
